Completed in summer 2023, Ylläs Flow is one of Finland's best long flow trails. The over-two-kilometre trail starts from the top of the chairlift. It winds through beautiful scenery first above the treeline and then in the lower forest.

The flow trail is wide and beginner-friendly. At a relaxed pace you can get by with basic cycling skills and a dash of adventure. The trail has easy berms (banked corners) and rollers that you can roll over with confidence.

Adding speed demands more attention and bike control. Experienced and fast riders enjoy the high-tempo ride. The trail has many well-paced berms and jumps. On the open lower section the trail joins the Appetizer; watch for riders on the other trail at the junction.

Ylläs Flow has set the standard for modern flow trails in Finland. This beautifully built trail offers everything you could wish for from downhill biking in an easily accessible form.

Generously sized yet easy-riding berms give you the opportunity to refine your skills, and the tabletop jumps on the trail provide a safe environment for first-time air. The trail's flow is extremely smooth, enabling more experienced riders to enjoy high-speed play across different lines.

Ylläs Bike Park is open daily 11am–6pm during the summer season. The season starts on 13 June and runs through 27 September 2026. Follow our website and social channels for updates on exceptions and current information.

For brand-new riders we recommend starting with the trails from the Vekkuli carpet lift. When your bike feels familiar and you feel confident, you can move on to trails reached by the chairlift, such as Ylläs Flow. Flow is wide and beginner-friendly. Riding at an easy pace, you can manage with everyday cycling skills and a bit of an adventurous spirit.

The most common reasons for closing the Gondola are strong wind, storms, or thunderstorms. The Gondola is never closed for cost-saving reasons. The crew operating the Gondola are on duty all day, even if the lift does not run for a single minute.

Courses last two to three hours depending on the course. For example, the Get to know the bike park course lasts two hours, and the Ylläs Pro X course three hours.
