Restaurant Taiga's flame burns bright for relaxed fell cuisine, tasty lunches, and evening entertainment. Located at the Ylläsjärvi resort area in the main Taiga building. Taiga Pub centres on rotating beers, charcoal grill dishes, and finger food. On artist evenings, music brings the mountain atmosphere to life. Taiga Kitchen, stand-up comedy, and all-ages gigs are the highlights of the season. Taiga is open both summer and winter seasons.

The atmospheric Ylläskammi at the summit of Yllästunturi is Finland's highest-situated restaurant. Kammi serves hot and cold drinks, ice cream, fresh doughnuts, and a variety of dishes from soups to chicken baskets. Ylläskammi is open daily when the gondola is open.
The recently renovated Aurinko restaurant sits at the edge of Aurinkorinne slope near the treeline at Ylläsjärvi. The wonderful terrace draws spring skiers to soak up the sun. Fast food, other treats, and a wide selection of drinks available. The new owners have worked wonders with the restaurant — come and see!
From the tiny Cafe Lippuluukku you can get soup lunches and freshly baked savoury and sweet pastries. Juices and hot chocolates are also on the menu! Located in the old ticket booth premises on the Ylläsjärvi side.
During the busiest seasons, Gondol restaurant joins Ylläskammi at the summit. Open in late winter whenever the gondola lift is running. Located at the upper gondola station, the large windows offer stunning views over Ylläsjärvi village. The menu is wide-ranging — from waffles to salmon soup!
Located at Ylläsjärvi, right next to BistroHissi. Finland's favourite fast food chain needs no further introduction! The familiar burger meals are a hit with the whole family on a ski day!
Situated at the foot of the dramatic Varkaankuru valley, near the Jokerihissi lower station, Jokerikuppila is a favourite haunt of many Ylläs regulars. In mid-winter it's an atmospheric rest stop, and when the spring sun shines, many linger on the cosy terrace for a drink or two!
On the spring snowfields with the sun shining, the terrace offers deck chairs and additional snow terrace spots on the slope.
Stunning views over Pallas-Ylläs National Park through the windows. Y1 Food Garden is a spacious, bright "something for everyone" family restaurant. Offering pizza buffet, home cooking, and a children's play area. The Cafe-Bar serves specialty coffees, brewed teas, and hot and cold drinks.
This is the restaurant that usually opens first and stays open till the very end. In the warm-spirited, pub-like section you can relax by the fireplace between runs. Live performers during the season.

For brand-new riders we recommend starting with the trails from the Vekkuli carpet lift. When your bike feels familiar and you feel confident, you can move on to trails reached by the chairlift, such as Ylläs Flow. Flow is wide and beginner-friendly. Riding at an easy pace, you can manage with everyday cycling skills and a bit of an adventurous spirit.
The most common reasons for closing the Gondola are strong wind, storms, or thunderstorms. The Gondola is never closed for cost-saving reasons. The crew operating the Gondola are on duty all day, even if the lift does not run for a single minute.
Courses last two to three hours depending on the course. For example, the Get to know the bike park course lasts two hours, and the Ylläs Pro X course three hours.
