The trail starts at the top next to the Gondola upper station. The upper section is bigger than Reindeer Rally, slightly steeper and rougher. It also has jumps that you can roll through or get more air on. Riding the rock-gap jump at the start of the trail requires particular precision and the right speed. The gap can be bypassed on the right.

After a long straight the trail gets more technical with jumps, smaller berms and corners that demand precision. With enough speed they are fun to ride. After the second straight the trail turns sharply left and continues as a slightly rocky natural path. Soon the flow section begins with jumps, a drop (double drop, bypass on the right on the ground), boxes and fast berms.

Before the treeline Mr. Hankey branches off left from Murica, Full Enduro continues straight from the second straight, and a bit later Kirraa branches off left.

Riding the trail requires speed control, choosing the right line and some courage. All jumps can be bypassed or rolled at a moderate pace.

The second of the summit trails, which has gone through several evolutions over the years to reach its current form. The upper section visible from the Gondola features fast berms and sizeable tabletop jumps that you can roll over or hit for big air – do note the effect of wind on the jumps. In addition to the fast berms, the section also has a couple of tighter corners where speed control is crucial.

After the long straight comes a section with tight corners but a great rhythm, spiced up with doubles. On this section line choice and speed control are key – challengingly fun! At the end of the section there is a "bus stop" where you can shake out your arms before moving on. From here you can also transfer to Mr. Hankey.

From the bus stop you continue to the flow section that has been renewed this season, rather than the service road. After a short natural path you reach a section featuring smooth berms, wooden bridges, tabletop jumps and drops – all drops are bypassable. There are also a few doubles to be had, true speed-fun!

After the platform drops comes the legendary Murica lower section. This perennial favourite entertains riders with fast berms and very satisfying jumps that can also be rolled over. Instead of Murica's lower section, after the platform drops you can also pedal left onto Air Flow's lower section.

Ylläs Bike Park is open daily 11am–6pm during the summer season. The season starts on 13 June and runs through 27 September 2026. Follow our website and social channels for updates on exceptions and current information.

For brand-new riders we recommend starting with the trails from the Vekkuli carpet lift. When your bike feels familiar and you feel confident, you can move on to trails reached by the chairlift, such as Ylläs Flow. Flow is wide and beginner-friendly. Riding at an easy pace, you can manage with everyday cycling skills and a bit of an adventurous spirit.

The most common reasons for closing the Gondola are strong wind, storms, or thunderstorms. The Gondola is never closed for cost-saving reasons. The crew operating the Gondola are on duty all day, even if the lift does not run for a single minute.

Courses last two to three hours depending on the course. For example, the Get to know the bike park course lasts two hours, and the Ylläs Pro X course three hours.
