#4 Air Flow

A jump trail that has achieved legendary status.

Style

Flow

Distance

2200 m

Elevation

400 m

Over two kilometres, over 50 jumps plus fast, big berms and rollers. Air Flow is all of that and more. Turn left from the chairlift and ride a couple of hundred metres to the start.

The trail has many tabletop and double jumps plus a few step-ups. The trail splits into two parts; the upper section is slightly easier than the lower. The lower section is more technically demanding and the jumps are bigger. The tables on the largest jumps in the lower section are about 10 metres long. From halfway you can transfer to Murica.

Riding Air Flow at pace requires choosing the right lines, matching your speed, controlling the jumps and constant focus. All jumps can be rolled at slow speed. Get to know the trail before increasing speed. In windy conditions, note the effect of wind on the jumps.

A jump trail that has achieved legendary status and one of our bike park's most popular trails! A modern flow trail whose popularity rests on two elements – airy jumps and fast berm corners. Combined, they create a beautifully rolling trail where the fun is at its peak.

The wide trail also offers plenty of variation in lines and tricks. Most of the trail's jumps are tabletops, but variety and challenge come in the form of double jumps and step-ups. Although a red-rated trail, it offers an excellent opportunity for progression as all jumps can be rolled at a slow pace. The best approach is to master the trail's features one by one as you find the right speeds and lines.

The trail consists of an upper and lower section – the lower offering slightly more challenge. The two-part layout also creates a great opportunity to combine Air Flow's upper section with Murica's lower section. This trail is guaranteed to put a smile on your face!

Ylläs Bike Park is open daily 11am–6pm during the summer season. The season starts on 13 June and runs through 27 September 2026. Follow our website and social channels for updates on exceptions and current information.

For brand-new riders we recommend starting with the trails from the Vekkuli carpet lift. When your bike feels familiar and you feel confident, you can move on to trails reached by the chairlift, such as Ylläs Flow. Flow is wide and beginner-friendly. Riding at an easy pace, you can manage with everyday cycling skills and a bit of an adventurous spirit.

The most common reasons for closing the Gondola are strong wind, storms, or thunderstorms. The Gondola is never closed for cost-saving reasons. The crew operating the Gondola are on duty all day, even if the lift does not run for a single minute.

Courses last two to three hours depending on the course. For example, the Get to know the bike park course lasts two hours, and the Ylläs Pro X course three hours.
