The start gate of Reindeer Rally is at the top behind restaurant Kammi. The upper section is scenic, wide, with big, tight banked corners (berms), rollers of various sizes and a few wide wooden bridges. There is a rest spot halfway down the upper section. Near the treeline the Enduro Twist and Lower Twist enduro trails branch off. Lower in the forest Reindeer Rally continues narrower and gentler. The forest section has large and smaller berms, one tabletop jump and a couple of rollers that you can roll through or jump.

Riding the trail requires speed control, choosing the right line and some courage for the steeper corners in the upper section.

You can actually spot reindeer on Reindeer Rally, as the name suggests.

A classic trail from the summit offering stunning views into the Pallas-Yllästunturi National Park. The upper section consists of fast and slightly tighter berm corners that demand good speed control, with the trail surrounded by boulder fields. The rhythm of the corners is really satisfying and enables great flow. The rest spot halfway down the upper section is a perfect place to admire the scenery and snap a few shots of your riding buddies.

After the rest spot the trail continues in much the same vein with excellent flow and opportunities for doubles – perhaps a few sneaky lines to be found too. Near the treeline you can also head off to Enduro Twist and Lower Twist. Just after the treeline there is a short natural path section where you get a taste of enduro riding. Reindeer Rally's lower section is a truly smooth, flowy trail with berms and tabletop jumps offering trickier and faster sections – the cherry on top!

Ylläs Bike Park is open daily 11am–6pm during the summer season. The season starts on 13 June and runs through 27 September 2026. Follow our website and social channels for updates on exceptions and current information.

For brand-new riders we recommend starting with the trails from the Vekkuli carpet lift. When your bike feels familiar and you feel confident, you can move on to trails reached by the chairlift, such as Ylläs Flow. Flow is wide and beginner-friendly. Riding at an easy pace, you can manage with everyday cycling skills and a bit of an adventurous spirit.

The most common reasons for closing the Gondola are strong wind, storms, or thunderstorms. The Gondola is never closed for cost-saving reasons. The crew operating the Gondola are on duty all day, even if the lift does not run for a single minute.

Courses last two to three hours depending on the course. For example, the Get to know the bike park course lasts two hours, and the Ylläs Pro X course three hours.
